How to Sign-Up
Selling is switched on for an existing BookFunnel author account. If you already publish with BookFunnel, most of this is done.
This page is not final. The signup steps live in the BookFunnel dashboard, which is outside this service, so the sequence below describes what selling requires rather than the exact screens. It has not been reviewed by the team who own that flow.
What selling needs
- A BookFunnel author account. The same one you use for giveaways and review copies.
- Books already on BookFunnel. You sell what you have uploaded; there is no separate catalogue for selling.
- Payment details accepted. Where your earnings go, and the tax information the payment processor is obliged to collect.
- Agreement to the selling terms. Not yet published — see Terms of Use.
Then
Once selling is enabled, set up a product and choose any of the four ways to sell it: a BookFunnel landing page, a direct checkout link, the widget on your own website, or a storepage.
What it costs
The platform fee depends on your BookFunnel plan, and the card network takes its own. Both are set out, with a worked example and the refund and chargeback fees, on the Pricing page; BookFunnel's rates are subject to change. For the plans themselves, see BookFunnel pricing.
